Led by their charismatic Artistic Director Vasko Vassilev, the Covent Garden Soloists captivated the audience with a performance of the Konzerthaus, that brought everyone to their feet. With customary panache, the ensemble brought the rich traditions of classical music to life, infusing each piece with a modern vibrancy that resonated with every listener.
True to character and their descriptive name, the group featured members in solo turns throughout the programme, with star percussionist Vicki Vassilev and guitarist-composer, Lucas Campara Diniz, stepping in to perform lead roles alongside Vasko Vassilev.
